All content, data, and maps are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of the outbreak data displayed.

2. Data sources & accuracy

Data is aggregated from publicly available sources including ProMED-mail, Google News RSS feeds, and CDC publications. Country detection is automated using keyword matching and may contain errors. Geographic coordinates are approximate population-weighted centroids, not exact outbreak locations.

3. Intellectual property

The underlying tracker code is open source and available on GitHub. Outbreak data belongs to its respective original sources (WHO, CDC, ProMED-mail, news outlets). Maps are rendered using Leaflet and Esri World Imagery tiles.

4. Limitation of liability

Under no circumstances shall the operators of HantavirusMap.site be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use this site.
